Mustapha Zayoun

Director of Facilities

Mustapha Zayoun joined the Heafey Group in September 2016 as the team’s Director of Facility and Chief Civil Engineer. Mr. Zayoun is primarily responsible for the coordination of project improvements, including, renovating structural and mechanical systems to promote the longevity of building infrastructure, overseeing case good renovations, and implementing processes to achieve organizational efficiencies.

After graduating from the University of Ottawa with a degree in Civil Engineering, Mr. Zayoun continued to work for five years at Transport Canada, a government agency tasked with the development and management of sustainable transportation infrastructure. Mr. Zayoun then matriculated into the esteemed Carelton University Masters of Engineering program, where he specialized in transportation engineering and graduated with high honors. Stantec Consulting, a multidisciplinary engineering firm, recognized Mr. Zayoun’s passion for engineering and hired him as a traffic engineer, where he worked with muncipalities, real estate developers, and private land owners to complete transportation impact assessments.
